Workshop on the Dynamics of Political Party Administration

As an organization of people with common goals and a road map to better the lives of constituents, and seeking the acquisition and exercise of political power in a polity to realize these goals, a modern-day political party requires dynamic leaders and administrators. Modern politics is a very competitive arena. Winning elections requires leaders who have the skills and ability to: maintain party discipline, drive a clear message to voters, recruit electable candidates, and overcome opponents through civil discourse. TIPSEC offers a one week capacity-building workshop in Toronto for political party administrators from developing democracies to acquire the necessary skills for steering political party leadership successfully. The workshop includes visits to political party offices and historical political sites in Ontario, as well as meetings with politicians.
